I heard that some people also use PC cases to house the PAR's TBC-IV
because it is really a PC slot-compatible card. That's a great way to
free up one more slot in our cramped 4000's.
Any other tips out there on using PC cases this way?

Easy! Run a SCSI cable from the back of your Amiga (from your SCSI
controller's external SCSI port) and into the PC case. Chain your SCSI
drives together (which you have mounted inside the PC case) and feed them
power from the PC case's internal PSU.
It's very straight forward and you don't need any software, or solder! Just
try not to make the SCSI cable from your Amiga too long.
